On Monday 23 March, ALL DIGITAL week returns. The Europe-wide campaign strives to give people the tools to develop and enhance their digital skills. Since 2010, the campaign has reached over 1,255,000 people and has helped them to take their first steps online. However, according to Digital Economy and Society Index DESI, 43% of people in Europe have insufficient digital skills and 17% have none at all, and ALL DIGITAL Week helps them to start their digital journeys. Thousands of events training and awareness-raising activities will be organised across Europe covering a variety of topics from online taster sessions, staying safe online to coding and even robotics!
With more than 11.9 million people in the UK alone still without all the digital skills they need to make the most of the internet, campaigns like ALL DIGITAL Week play a vital role in reaching those in need Good Things Foundation is proud to support ALL DIGITAL Week and encourage our community network of 4,000 Online Centres to represent the UK in a Europe-wide digital inclusion movement.
