Get Online Week is coming and we’re saying: now is the time to help others get online.
Get Online Week 2020 - taking place from 19-25 October - isn’t going to be the same as our previous campaigns. With the country still responding to the coronavirus pandemic, we won’t be asking you to hold public events in your local communities and invite people into your venues.
Instead, we're asking you to help people safely, whether that’s over the phone, using digital tools like video calls, or in person on 1-1 basis, but only when and where it’s safe to do so. And we’re going to help you figure out exactly how to do this in your community.
As the campaign gets closer, we’ll be sharing LOTS of tips and resources on how to get involved in Get Online Week and what your activities could look like, so you can engage with the people who need your help without having to physically be together.
In the meantime, please head over to the Get Online Week website to register as an event holder (you can use your Online Centres Network website login details), and if you haven’t, subscribe to our campaign newsletter to receive all the latest campaign updates.
