Affordable devices for Online Centres
Good Things Foundation is happy to be working with two organisations - Computer Aid and Computer Recyclers UK - to make high quality, low-cost computer equipment available to the Online Centres Network and its learners.
Computer Aid
Members of the Online Centres Network, and their learners can now purchase refurbished desktop computers from as little as £85 and laptops from £115 (both inc. VAT) plus a delivery fee. You can find more technical specifications below.
The process of buying the equipment is quick and simple:
- A member of staff from an Online Centre (eg. you) calls 0208 361 5540 to place an order with Computer Aid - whether for the centre itself, or on behalf of a learner. You must quote your Online Centres Network ID number to be eligible for this offer.
- Computer Aid will fulfil the order and distribute to the customer within 1 calendar month of payment being received.
- Computer Aid will check the customer has received their order and make sure everything is as expected.

Computer Recyclers UK
Computer Recyclers UK provides low cost refurbished computers throughout the UK via their initiative, Get Online @ Home.
Windows 10 PCs are available from £99 Inc. VAT. Windows 10 Laptops are available from £169 Inc. VAT. Full Specifications and upgrade options available can be seen on the Get Online @ Home website.
The process of buying the equipment is quick and simple:
- Orders can be made online via www.getonlineathome.org, by calling 03719 100 100, or emailing your requirements to enquiries@computerrecyclersuk.com. You'll get a rapid response between Monday - Friday 8:30am-5:00pm.
- Online orders can be paid for via card payment or PayPal. Telephone orders can be paid for by card, or invoice can be emailed with BACS details for payment.
- There are no minimum or maximum orders, so whether it is for your Online Centre or a learner, Computer Recyclers UK deliver anywhere in the UK. Delivery address can be different from billing address and delivery is included in the price.
- For orders of more than one unit, we aim to make sure all equipment are matching brands and models.
- Computer Recyclers UK will fulfil orders and deliver within 10 working days of payment being received for individual orders, and within 20 working days for bulk orders.
- Computer Recyclers UK offers an additional 5% discount to all members of the Online Centres Network discount, so please mention your membership when ordering to benefit from this offer.
- All orders include delivery, a 6-month warranty and telephone support.
