Working with Unpaid Carers

5.7 million people in the UK are unpaid carers, and 8 out of 10 carers have felt lonely or isolated as a result of their caring responsibilities.

Almost half (48%) of carers said they did not have time to spend on social activities while 31% said they could not afford to participate in social activities.

These statistics, highlight some the ways in which unpaid carers can particularly benefit from being online, and these resources can help you better target and support carers in your community.

Joining our Specialist Carers Network can also help you connect with other organisations doing similar work across the country and access other relevant information and resources.
